Dear Friend

23 Nov

Dear Friend,

A Christmas song came on the radio today that reminded me of you. The lyric was “there used to be Christmases when I had you.” We used to have traditions, not that we ever talked about them. We would make an effort to buy gifts for each other, even though we’d always say not to. And what I remember most is spending numerous Christmas nights in a movie theater because we knew we’d be the only ones in the theater. I know we both act like we know exactly why we stopped talking, but I’m calling your bluff because honestly, I’m clueless, and I really don’t think I can live without you. I’m hoping once the Christmas spirit somehow breaks your rough exterior, you’ll realize that you miss me, too.

With hope,

Your best friend

I wish I knew if this was you. If you knew about this website, and if you really meant this
