August 4, 2012 – “No More Bullying” Back to School bullying prevention event at the St. Louis Mills Mall, Alex Boles was featured as a guest speaker alongside Tina Meier of the Megan Meier Foundation for teen suicide prevention.

April 16, 2011 – Battle of the Bands benefit concert for Suicide Prevention

The Kaitlin Harris Foundation and the Unwritten Letters Project are teaming up to host a Battle of the Bands at the Old Rock House in Soulard, April 16th, 2011 at 7p.m.!! ALL proceeds will go towards suicide prevention efforts!!!

JUDGES: Elle Rogers, Rich Wilfong, and Willie Pops, Jr. from the SMASH Band!!

Six Missouri bands will be featured in the battle along with an after show by Mike Apirion and Dirty Pop! The six bands are: …

Six Gun Salute, hereafterthis, Gateway Getaway, Stockholm Smile, Sleeping in Cars and If Tomorrow Ever Comes

College Femme online magazine also will be sponsoring an International Songwriting Contest. Submissions are due by April 1st and must be about self love, anti-bullying or suicide prevention. Link for more info is on event wall!

The Unwritten Letters Project will display a wall of letters written by event attendees to survivors, victims and family members of suicide. The ULP book also will be available for purchase.

50/50 raffle and DOOR PRIZES!!! Tickets are $12 and will be available on MetroTix soon and at the door! Please come help raise money for suicide prevention! Full bar AND full menu available!!
