Dear First Kiss

So on Saturday night we kissed,right? And I loved it, I really did. And now we’re together. And I love that, too. But I need to get this one off of my chest. I don’t trust you. I don’t trust people in general. I’m so sorry, but I’ve had my heart broken too many times, and I don’t  want you to hurt me. You have no idea how much I want to trust you, but I’m keeping my heart to myself at the moment, because if there’s an end in sight, I want to get as far away from the pain as I can before it hits.

I’m sorry. Maybe I’ll trust you one day. I sure hope so.
